French Onion Pork Chops

  • 8 boneless pork chops

  • 1/2 cup french onion sour cream dip

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup crispy french fried onion


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease a 9×13 baking dish then place the pork chops side by side on the bottom of the dish. Spread the french onion dip mixture all over the tops of the pork chops. Sprinkle the cheese all over the top of the sour cream mixture then sprinkle the french fried onions all over the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the pork chips are cooked. Enjoy

  1. Have you ever tried this with boneless skinless chicken breasts? Not a huge fan of pork so was just curious!

  2. I JUST made this! It’s OK with chops….but “I” think this would be AMAZING wirh chicken tenders! !!!!! 🙂 the topping and dip/”sauce” is great 🙂 but my personal preference chops kinda chewy 4 me,nit too bad though 🙂 plus, I put foil over mine after 30 min or so,bcuz my onions were getting too brown..so I would cover w foil 1st 20 min. And use chicken tenders, “maybe” less cook time w tenders? 🙂 but all N all…I DO think the flavor was spot on! 😉

  3. I made this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts and it was delicious! The chicken was moist and the topping was crunchy and full of flavor. Great recipe!

    We don’t have the onion dip in Norway, so I have found a recipe online. Is there enough seasoning in the dip to flavor the chops? There’s no seasoning listed in your recipe. It probably depends on the dip, I guess.
