Instructions
Slice the sausage lengthwise, then cut into half moons.
To a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sausage and cook 3 minutes per side until golden.
Pour in the water and rice mix. Scrape the flavorful bits from the bottom of the pan and stir well.
Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender.
Turn off the heat and let sit for 2–4 minutes before serving.
