To a large skillet add the ground beef, onion, and minced garlic. Break the ground beef up and cook through. Remove any excess grease.
Add in both cans of beans, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, and seasonings stir well and let simmer stirring frequently for 10 minutes.
To assemble lay a bed of fritos on the bottom of a plate, scoop some of the chili mixture on top then top with your favorite toppings: lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, diced onion, and lime. Enjoy!
