Ingredients
Spiced Apples

diced or sliced

lemon juice
Crisp Topping

cup
brown sugar

cup
old fashioned oats
¾
cup
all purpose flour

teaspoon
ground cinnamon
Pinch
of salt
½
cup
cold unsalted butter
diced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8 by 8 inch baking dish.
Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread in dish.
In a bowl mix brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, salt, and cold butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle topping over apples.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently. Freezing may soften the topping.
