Hot Honey Sheet Pan Chicken

Ingredients

Hot Honey Sauce
⅓

honey

hot sauce

melted butter or olive oil
Juice of 1/2 lemon

chili flakes

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Add the cubed chicken, diced sweet potatoes, and sliced red onion to the prepared sheet pan.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated and spread into an even layer.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, melted butter or olive oil, lemon juice, and chili flakes if using.
Pour half of the hot honey sauce over the chicken and vegetables and toss gently to coat.
Bake for 35 minutes, stirring halfway through if desired, until the chicken is cooked through and the sweet potatoes are tender.
Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining hot honey sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
I cut the sweet potatoes small so everything finishes together.
This reheats well for lunches the next day.
You can adjust the heat level easily by changing the hot sauce amount.
Parchment paper makes cleanup much easier.
