To a large Dutch oven or pot on the stove over medium heat add in the Italian sausage, onion, carrots, and celery break the sausage up and cook it through.
Once cooked remove any excess grease in the pot.
Stir in the minced garlic until fragrant.
Add in the seasonings and broth, stir well. Let simmer covered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
Stir in the pasta and let cook for an additional 12 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and spinach let the spinach wilt down and serve.
