One pot sun-dried tomato chicken pasta is creamy, savory, and loaded with bold tomato flavor, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked pasta—all made in one easy skillet!
Add oil to a large pot. Once hot, add chicken and season with salt, pepper, and dried basil. Cook until the chicken is cooked through. Remove cooked chicken and set aside.
To the same pot, add the water and bring to a boil. Add in pasta and cook for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender. If there is excess water, drain it out.
Turn heat to low, add in tomatoes, pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir well, add the chicken back in, diced, if you'd like, and serve. Enjoy!
