Ingredients

rotisserie chicken
chopped into smaller pieces

olive oil

uncooked orzo

carrots

yellow onion
diced

chicken broth

onion powder

Instructions
To a large pan on the stove over medium high heat add the oil. Once oil is hot add the carrots and onion sauté for 4-5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Add in the orzo, seasonings, and broth turn heat to low and let simmer covered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
Remove the lid and stir in the peas, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and rotisserie chicken.
Cover and let simmer stirring occasionally for 3-4 more minutes
