Taco quesadillas are a cheesy, crispy mashup of two favorites—loaded with seasoned taco meat, melty cheese, and all your favorite fixings in a golden tortilla.
Cook ground beef in a large skillet and break it up into smaller pieces. Once cooked through, drain any grease from the pan and sprinkle in the taco seasoning and the water. Stir well and let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes
To a large burrito-size tortilla spread some of the refried beans to the bottom, dot some salsa on top of the beans, and sprinkle on some of the taco beef. Top with tortilla chips and cheese. Place a second tortilla on top. Repeat for all of the quesadillas.
Heat a clean skillet up on the stove. Add 1 tbsp of butter to the pan. Once, melted add in the quesadilla and cook for a couple minutes on each side until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown. Slice up and enjoy!
