To a large Dutch oven or pot over medium heat, add the oil. Once hot, add the onion, carrots, and ground beef. Break the ground beef up and cook it through.
Once cooked, remove any excess grease from the pot. Sir in the garlic and cook for 20 seconds. Add in the broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, crushed tomatoes, seasonings, and brown sugar. Simmer for at least 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and serve the sauce on top. Enjoy!
