This Homemade Hamburger Helper is a one-pan classic with tender beef, creamy sauce, and pasta—all made from scratch in under 30 minutes. Way better than the box!
In a large skillet or pot brown the ground beef. Once its cooked through remove any excess grease and remove the beef to a plate and set aside.
Add oli to skillet and onion cook for 4-5 minutes or until the onion is soft. Add in the garlic and stir until it becomes fragrant.
Add in the flour let it become golden this will take about a minute. Slowly whisk in the broth and bring everything up to a boil.
Add in the tomato sauce, seasonings, and pasta stir well. Cover and let simmer for 10-14 or until the pasta is cooked. Stir frequently while simmering so the pasta cooks evenly and doesn't stick to the pan.
Add in the cheese and cream let it warm through and let the cheese melt. Lastly mix in the cooked ground beef. Enjoy.
