  • 2 tbs all purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 ½ cups pasta elbows
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or pot brown the ground beef. Once its cooked through remove any excess grease and remove the beef to a plate and set aside.
  • Add oli to skillet and onion cook for 4-5 minutes or until the onion is soft. Add in the garlic and stir until it becomes fragrant.
  • Add in the flour let it become golden this will take about a minute. Slowly whisk in the broth and bring everything up to a boil.
  • Add in the tomato sauce, seasonings, and pasta stir well. Cover and let simmer for 10-14 or until the pasta is cooked. Stir frequently while simmering so the pasta cooks evenly and doesn't stick to the pan.
