Lemon Chicken Spaghetti is a bright and comforting pasta dish with tender chicken, spaghetti, and a light lemon sauce that’s both tangy and creamy. It’s quick enough for a weeknight but special enough for guests.
To a pot of boiling water add in the pasta and cook according to the package directions once pasta is tender reserve 1/3 cup of the water the pastas cooking in. Drain the remaining pasta a d set to the side.
To a saute pan add the butter over medium heat once melted whisk in the flour until it's a golden color it takes about 1-2 minutes. Whisk in the garlic and let it become fragrant it should take 20-30 seconds. Whisk in the broth and lemon juice bring sauce up to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and rotisserie chicken. Stir in the Parmesan, pepper, and salt. If you like a thinner sauce stir in the reserved pasta water at this point. Stir in the pasta and enjoy!
