Begin by spreading a generous layer of whipped topping (about 1/2 inch thick) on the bottom of your baking dish.
Place a layer of graham crackers over the whipped topping, making sure they cover the surface completely. You may need to break them into smaller pieces to fit.
Spread another layer of whipped topping over the graham crackers.
Add a layer of freshly sliced strawberries on top of the whipped topping.
Repeat this layering process (whipped topping, graham crackers, whipped topping, strawberries) until the dish is filled. For a typical baking dish, three layers work best.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or until ready to serve.
