To a large pan over medium heat, add the ground beef, break it up, and cook it until it’s 50% of the way cooked through. Add in the peppers and onions and cook everything until the ground beef is cooked through. Remove any excess grease from the pan. Stir in cream cheese and let it melt.
Grease a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick spray. Add the ground beef mixture and spread it out on the bottom of the dish. Place the slices of provolone on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
While baking, prepare the hoagie rolls. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Once melted, add the hoagie rolls in the pan about two at a time and let them get toasty for a few minutes. Fill the rolls with the cheesesteak mixture. Serve and enjoy!
