2-3lbchuck roast,cut it into pieces and remove the large fatty pieces
1cupbeef broth
1Tbspminced garlic
1Tbspminced ginger
½cuplow sodium soy sauce
⅓cupbrown sugar
1Tbsprice vinegar
¼cupcornstarch
12ozfrozen bag of broccoli
Instructions
Add the meat into the slow cooker.
Make the sauce by adding to a small bowl the beef broth, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinega. Whisk well. Pour the sauce over the meat in the slow cooker and stir. Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours.
30 minutes before it’s cooked ,carefully remove 1/2 cup of the sauce from the slow cooker and add it into a small bowl. Add the cornstarch into the bowl and stir until smooth. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker. Put the broccoli into the slow cooker and stir. Cook for an additional 20 minutes or until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
