Light, fluffy, and nutty with whole wheat flavor, these pancakes are a healthier twist on the breakfast classic. They pair perfectly with fresh fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup.
To a large mixing bowl add flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar whisk to combine the ingredients.
Beat in the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat. When the pan/griddle is hot melt some butter in the pan. Once the butter is melted pour 1/2 cup of the batter in let pancakes cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat. Enjoy with maple syrup!
