1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour, OR all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
2 tbs sugar
1 1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
- To a large mixing bowl add flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar whisk to combine the ingredients.
- Beat in the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat. When the pan/griddle is hot melt some butter in the pan. Once the butter is melted pour 1/2 cup of the batter in let pancakes cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat. Enjoy with maple syrup!
