
BBQ Chicken Sandwiches – Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 ½ cups barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup chicken broth
Instructions
- In a bowl add the barbecue sauce, broth, and onion whisk to combine.
- Add the chicken breast to the slow cooker and pour the sauce on top. Slow cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once the chicken is cooked, shred and continue to cook on low for 20 minutes.
- To serve I like to place the BBQ chicken mixture in a hamburger bun with coleslaw!
