BBQ Hot Dogs with Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes

BBQ hot dogs with broccoli and mashed potatoes is a fun, family-friendly dinner with sweet-savory flavors and classic sides.

Ingredients 

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 12 oz hot dogs , OR smoked sausage, sliced into half moons
  • 12 oz frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 pouch dry instant mashed potatoes

Instructions 

  • To a large skillet on the stove over medium heat add the oil once hot add in the sliced hot dogs and frozen broccoli cook for 7-10 minutes to brown and cook the hot dogs and broccoli.
  • Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the package instructions. To the cooked hot dogs and broccoli add in the barbecue sauce and stir well. Let simmer for 2-4 minutes stirring often. Serve the hot dogs and broccoli over the mashed potatoes and enjoy!
