Beefy Potato Skillet

This beefy potato skillet is a hearty, one-pan dinner made with seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and melty cheese.

Ingredients 

  • 2 lbs golden potatoes, peel and diced
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • ½ packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • cup shredded or grated parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • To a large pot on the stove over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add in the potatoes and stir well to coat the potatoes in the oil cook for about seven minutes stirring occasionally so the potatoes don’t stick to the bottom of the pot. After the cooking time is up, add in the ground beef, onion, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, broth, and Lipton onion soup mix break the ground beef up with a spatula and let it cook on the stove for about 10 to 12 minutes or until the ground beef has completely cooked through. Stir in the cheese and enjoy.
