Baked Ziti (5- Ingredient)

Just five ingredients to make this cheesy baked pasta goodness—this shortcut baked ziti is a weeknight hero.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 24 oz marinara sauce

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Boil pasta according to package directions then drain.
  • In a pan on the stove add the ground sausage and completely cook. Drain the excess grease.
  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray then add the cooked drained pasta, sausage, marinara sauce, 1 cup of the cheese, and season with all of the seasonings. Stir every thing together top with remaining cup of cheese. Cover with aluminum foil bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for 10 more minutes. Enjoy.
