Ingredients

  • 4 medium thick boneless pork chops
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 tbs brown sugar
  • 4 tsp dijon mustard
  • 5 tsp chicken flavor better than bouillon paste
  • 5 tbs water
  • 1 tbs butter

Instructions

  • Place the pork chops in a large ziplock bag and pound with a meat mallet or rolling pin. This will help the pork chops be tender in the end. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on each side.
  • To a small mixing bowl add the brown sugar, dijon mustard, bouillon paste, and water whisk well. Set to the side.
  • Heat a skillet to medium heat add the olive oil once hot add the pork chops and cook on each side for 3-5 minutes or until they are cooked. Remove to a separate place and cover with aluminum foil set to the side. In the same pan you cooked the pork chops in add the butter and let it melt. Once melted add the brown sugar mixture let simmer and whisk frequently until it thickens it should take 3-6 minutes.
  • Pour the brown sugar glaze over the pork chops and serve. I like to pair with baked zucchini and couscous. Enjoy!
