Cheesy Tortellini Casserole

This cheesy tortellini casserole is loaded with marinara, melty cheese, and tender pasta for an ultra-cozy family meal.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground beef , OR Italian sausage
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 19 oz bag frozen cheese tortellini
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • cup water
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • To a large skillet over medium heat at the ground beef and onion break the ground beef up and cook it through. Remove any excess grease from the pan.
  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray add the cooked ground beef onion mixture in, tortellini, pasta sauce, water, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and seasonings stir well.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Discard the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
