Chicken Tacos

These chicken tacos are quick, flavorful, and endlessly customizable—perfect for weeknights or taco night any day of the week.

Ingredients 

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins , or thin sliced chicken breast
  • 1.5 tbsp taco seasoning
  • Taco shells
  • ½ cup tomato salsa

Optional Toppings:

  • Cheese
  • Diced Tomato
  • Diced Onion
  • Avocado
  • Lettuce
  • Cilantro
  • Sour cream

Instructions 

  • To a large skillet on the stove on medium height heat add the oil and butter once the butter has melted add the chicken tenderloins and season them with taco seasoning. Stir well and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until the chicken has cooked through.
  • While the chicken is cooking place the taco shells on a sheet pan and bake according to the package instructions.
  • Once the chicken has cooked through stir in the lime juice and salsa in with the chicken. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Fill the shells with the chicken and your favorite toppings.
