Ground Beef Casserole

Simple, hearty, and packed with flavor—this ground beef casserole is pure comfort with minimal prep.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of cheddar soup
  • 3 cups cubed potatoes, frozen
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese

Instructions 

  • While oven is preheating to 350℉, In a pan cook the ground beef. Once cooked season with a dash of salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder and thyme and 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce.
  • In a large bowl, add the cooked meat, both cans of soup and the potatoes and 1/4 cup of cheese.
  • Put in a greased 9×9 baking dish and top with 3/4 cup more cheese.
  • Bake covered at 350℉ for 30 minutes, uncover and bake additional 20 minutes.

    What can I substitute for the cream of mushroom soup? We hate anything to do with mushrooms.

      Cream of celery or even cream of chicken would work, I’m thinking of substituting chicken for the this one. The Nacho cheese soup would be good in this one too, you want to spice it up!
