Lemon Chicken Spaghetti

This lemon chicken spaghetti is light, zesty, and full of garlicky flavor—an easy pasta dinner with a refreshing twist.

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 12 oz can chicken, drained
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • To a large pot of boiling water on your stove, add in the spaghetti, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Once the spaghetti is almost through cooking, remove a 1/2 cup of the water that the spaghetti is cooking in and set the water to the side. Drain the spaghetti and set the spaghetti to the side.
  • To a large pan on the stove over medium heat add in the butter, once the butter has melted stir in the minced garlic.
  • Now add in the chicken and seasonings. Let the chicken cook in with the seasonings and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream, lemon, and Parmesan cheese stir. Let the Parmesan melt down then stir in the reserved pasta water. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the cooked spaghetti and serve.
