One Pot Macaroni Lasagna

This one pot macaroni lasagna brings all the cheesy, saucy layers of lasagna into a quick and easy stovetop meal.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz elbow pasta
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • To a large pot on the stove over medium high heat add the ground beef break the ground beef up and cook it through. Remove any excess grease from the pot.
  • Stir in the seasonings.
  • Add in the broth, elbow pasta, pasta sauce, stir well. Put the lid on top and turn the heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender, if the liquid line gets too low while simmering add in 1/3 cup water at a time until the pasta is tender.
  • Stir in the cheese and enjoy.

    Delicious, easy, cheap, and kid approved! Adding it to our rotation! I will note that it is pretty salty. I probably will not add the salt next time and just salt to taste. I think the beef broth and marinara made it salty enough.
