Salsa Verde Casserole

Salsa Verde Casserole layers tender chicken, creamy sauce, and zesty salsa verde with tortillas and cheese, baking into a warm, flavorful meal everyone will want seconds of.

Ingredients 

  • ¾ cup salsa verde salsa
  • 2 tbs taco seasoning
  • 4 oz can green chilis
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 ½ cups Mexican style cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • To a large bowl add the salsa verde, taco seasoning, green chilis, cottage cheese, rotisserie chicken, and 1/2 cup of the cheese stir well.
  • Grease a large casserole dish. Add the casserole into the basking dish sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese. Bake for 22-25 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes out of the oven. Enjoy with your favorite taco toppings!
