Seasoned Chicken and Rice

Ingredients 

  • 2 medium sized chicken breasts
  • 1 box Rice-A-Roni long grain and wild rice
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions 

  • In a medium sized pot boil the Rice-a-Roni according to package directions
  • Slice the two chicken breasts in half horizontally, they will appear as four chicken breasts now. This will help the chicken cook quicker and it’ll make it more flavorful and tender. Season the chicken on each side with the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In a pan on the stove add the olive oil once its hot add the chicken cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until the chicken reaches the internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • Serve with the wild rice and seemed veggies!
