When I am making food for game day, I love recipes with simple prep and that can be served easily. These are tried-and-true recipes that I feel confident making when we have people over. My Super Bowl Sides make it easy to enjoy the game without spending all day in the kitchen.
Hamburger Sliders – 10 Minute Dinner
These hamburger sliders are juicy, cheesy, and perfect for busy nights, game days, or quick lunches.
Ingredients:
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp dill pickle relish
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 12 dinner rolls
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion, breaking the meat apart as it cooks, until fully browned.
- Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in the pickle relish, mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup until well combined.
- Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally and place the bottoms on a sheet pan.
- Layer the cheese slices on the rolls, then spoon the hamburger mixture evenly over the cheese.
- Place the tops of the rolls on.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and sesame seeds.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 5–8 minutes, until warmed through and lightly golden.

Jalapeño Popper Dip
This creamy jalapeño popper dip is rich, cheesy, and easy to scoop.
Ingredients:
Dip
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (4 oz) can diced jalapeños
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Dash of salt
- Dash of black pepper
Topping
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, garlic powder, bacon, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly into an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the dip.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a lightly golden top.
- Let cool slightly before serving with chips, crackers, or veggies.

Football Oreo Dip
This sweet football-shaped Oreo dip is a fun dessert that disappears really fast.
Ingredients:
Dip
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 15 Oreo cookies, crushed
Coating and Decoration
- 2 cups mini chocolate chips
- ½ cup vanilla frosting
For Serving
- Vanilla wafers
- Pretzels
- Graham crackers
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Spoon the mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a football.
- Chill in the freezer for 30 minutes or refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Press the mini chocolate chips all over the football.
- Pipe football laces using the vanilla frosting.
- Serve with wafers, pretzels, or crackers.

Loaded Potato Rounds
These loaded potato rounds are perfect for serving to a crowd.
Ingredients:
- 4 large russet potatoes
- ½–1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1–2 cups cooked bacon, crumbled
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Sour cream, for serving
Instructions:
- Cook the potatoes using one of the following methods: Microwave: Pierce potatoes with a fork and microwave 8–12 minutes, turning halfway, until tender. Oven: Bake at 400°F for 45–60 minutes until fork-tender.
- Let potatoes cool slightly, then slice into 1½-inch rounds.
- Place rounds on a sheet pan and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over each round.
- Top with bacon and green onions.
- Bake at 400°F for 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with sour cream.
Tortilla Chip Tacos
These mini tortilla chip tacos are quick, fun, and a perfect finger food.
Ingredients:
- 20 round tortilla chips
- ½–¾ cup cooked taco-seasoned meat
- ½ cup refried beans
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional Toppings
- Sour Cream
- Salsa
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Jalapeños
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Arrange tortilla chips flat on a baking sheet.
- Spread a small amount of refried beans onto each chip.
- Spoon taco meat over the beans.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 7 minutes, until cheese melts.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 1 minute.
- Carefully fold each chip in half to form a taco shape.
