10 Minute Pan Seared Chicken

This tasty pan seared chicken dish os both effortless and delicious is ready in just 10 minutes. Tender chicken breasts cook up with a golden-brown sear for a crispy outside and perfectly moist and tender inside.

Ingredients 

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large chicken breasts

Seasoning mixture:

  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions 

  • Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to make the chicken thinner and even in size. This will help the chicken cook a lot quicker and cook evenly. Pat the chicken dry on each side I like do pat it dry with a pepper towel.
  • To a small bowl add in all of the seasonings. Stir well. 
  • Rub the chicken on both sides with the seasoning mixture.
  • To a large skillet over medium heat on the stove add in the olive oil once the oil is hot add in the chicken cook the chicken without flipping for about 4 minutes on one side. Flip the chicken and cook the chicken for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Let the chicken rest on a plate or cutting board for 2 minutes before serving
