20 – Minute Honey Garlic Chicken

1 lb chicken tenderloins (or chicken breast)
2 tbs olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp peper
1 tbs butter
1 tbs minced garlic
- Honey Garlic Sauce
1/3 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup honey
1 tbs rice vinegar
2 tbs low sodium soy sauce
Directions
- Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet to medium heat add the oil once the oil is hot add the chicken tenderloins in, cook for 4 minutes on each side.
- While chicken is cooking to a small bowl add all of the sauce ingredients. Whisk well.
- To the chicken in the pan add in the butter and garlic stir well to melt the butter down and let the garlic become fragrant.
- Stir in the sauce and let simmer for 4-6 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Serve over a bed of rice with steamed vegetables and enjoy!
