
Cheddar Bay Biscuit Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb sausage
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 10 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 box Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix , + the ingredients the back or the box calls for (butter, cheese, and water)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- To a pan on the stove over medium heat add in the sausage and onion break the sausage up and cook it through once cooked remove any excess grease from the pan.
- To a medium sized bowl add in the eggs and seasonings whisk well.
- Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with a nonstick spray add in the cooked sausage and eggs stir well. Bake for 10 minutes.
- To a medium sized bowl add in the packet of cheddar Bay biscuit mix, water, and cheese stir well. To a small bowl, add in the melted butter that the back of the box calls for and the seasoning packet stir well.
- Once out of the oven, scoop the biscuit mix over the top of the casserole bake for 12-15 minutes or until the egg has set and the biscuits are golden brown.
- Once out of the oven brush the butter over the top
