Classic Chicken Casserole

Classic Chicken Casserole is a cozy family favorite with tender chicken, vegetables, and a creamy sauce baked under a golden topping.

Ingredients 

  • 4 cups cooked cubed chicken
  • 20 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cups frozen broccoli florets
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 ½ cups Italian style panko breadcrumbs
  • 5 tbs melted butter
  • 1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl add the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, broccoli, and seasonings stir ingredients to combine.
  • Grease a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray. Pour the casserole mixture to the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle the top with 1 cup of the cheese.
  • To a medium sized bowl add the panko breadcrumbs and butter. Stir to coat the breadcrumbs in the butter.
  • Sprinkle panko breadcrumb mixture over the top of the casserole sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Serve over a bed of rice or egg noodles. Enjoy!
