Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 ½ tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Add the chicken into a medium sized bowl, then add in the flour, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and 1 tablespoon of the minced garlic stir well to coat the chicken in the flour and seasonings.
  • To a large pan on the stove over medium high heat add in 1 tablespoon of the butter. Once the butter has melted, add in the chicken and turn the heat to medium let the chicken cook without stirring it often (so it forms a crust) for about 3 minutes on each side or until the chicken has completely cooked through.
  • Once the chickens cooked, add one more tablespoon of minced garlic and the remaining half a tablespoon of butter stir to let the butter melt down, and then serve.

I made this last night, and oh my! My husband and I loved it! The seasoning on this chicken is unmatched. The only change I made was using half as much pepper. I will definitely be making this again and again. We had it with mashed potatoes but would also be great with pasta. (Maybe angel hair Pastaroni to incorporate a little sauce.) Thank you for sharing these great recipes with us, Julia!
