Hawaiian Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Juicy meatballs coated in a sweet pineapple glaze—these Hawaiian-style bites are great for dinner or parties.

Ingredients 

  • 24-32 oz meatballs
  • 20 oz pineapple chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into larger chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into larger chunks
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbs soy sauce
  • cup white vinegar
  • 3 tbs cornstarch

Instructions 

  • To your slow cooker add the frozen meatballs with the bell peppers next drain the pineapple chunks SAVE the pineapple juice from the can.
  • In a separate bowl add the pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, white vinegar, and cornstarch whisk to combine.
  • Pour the sauce mixture all over the meatballs in the slow cooker, stir everything to combine. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours
  • I like to serve over a bed of white rice!
