I would like to order cookbooks

I made these with my 13-year old son, who adores chocolate and peanut butter. This dessert was easy to make and so delicious!! My son felt really proud of himself after making it. My kids love to watch your YouTube videos, Julia, and I think you’re doing a fantastic job of teaching them to cook! 😀 Thanks for all you do; this recipe is a keeper!

This recipe is perfect! I shared with friends + brought to work and got many compliments. I have tried for some time to make a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup dupe and never could, but these actually taste like and have the consistency of RPB cups- very soft and delicious. Thanks Julia!

Looks delicious! Is less sugar an option (and if so, how much could I reduce it by?) or would that change the consistency too much?

  5. Kelly says:

I thought this recipe turned out very well. I made a batch for the first time and I think it was really good. They’re very dense but so worth it!!

  6. Angel says:

I made these as directed and they were perfect. The only change I made was that I used milk chocolate chips because that’s what I had.
It was the perfect amount of sweet and salty and my family and I loved it.

I appreciate how simple this recipe is to put together. I made it with my 2 year old and there were plenty of ingredients that were easy for him to scoop and pour and mix.

I do wish the ingredients had a weighted measurement option, since we followed the recipe exactly, but the texture of the base of the bars was much looser for us. The pretzel/graham cracker layer poured into our pan and didn’t require spreading like shown in the video. We used standard Kraft smooth peanut butter, so I’m not sure why the consistency would have been so different.
We will make it again, but maybe change up the ratios if it comes out so soft next time.
