Tips and tricks for making the best brownies:

Can I use pumpkin pie filling:

When making this recipe I like to use a can of pumpkin puree, not the pumpkin pie filling as it has more than just pumpkin and that is what you are looking for with this brownie recipe.

What type of boxed brownie mix to use:

You can truly use whichever brownie mix you like to use. I also tend to enjoy throwing some chocolate chips into the brownie batter for an added texture.
