
Slow Cooker Stew Meat with Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 lbs stew meat
- 1 sliced onion
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp thyme
- 4 sliced pepperoncini peppers
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cups beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
Cornstarch Slurry
- 2 tbs cornstarch
- 2 tbs cold water
Instructions
- In the slow cooker, pour in all the ingredients (minus the cornstarch slurry mixture) and set to high for 3 – 4 hours or on low 5 -6 hours.
- Make the cornstarch slurry by mixing the Cornstarch Slurry together.
- 40 minutes before the beef tips are cooked remove the bay leaf and stir the cornstarch slurry in.
- Cook on HIGH for 30-40 minutes or until the beef tips are cooked and the gravy thickens.
- Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy.
