Slow Cooker Stew Meat with Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs stew meat

  • 1 sliced onion

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • 4 sliced pepperonci peppers

  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 cups beef broth

  • 1 bay leaf

  • Cornstarch Slurry
  • 2 tbs cornstarch

  • 2 tbs cold water

Directions

  • In the slow cooker, pour in all the ingredients (minus the cornstarch slurry mixture) and set to high for 3 – 4 hours or on low 5 -6 hours.
  • Make the cornstarch slurry by mixing the “Cornstarch Slurry” together
  • 40 minutes before the beef tips are cooked remove the bay leaf and stir the cornstarch slurry in
  • Cook on HIGH for 30-40 minutes or until the beef tips are cooked and the gravy thickens
  • Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy
