Turkey Sausage & Rice

Turkey Sausage and Rice is a hearty one-skillet dinner loaded with savory sausage, tender rice, and flavorful seasonings. It’s simple to prepare, easy to clean up, and satisfying enough for the whole family.

Ingredients 

  • 13 oz smoked turkey sausage, sliced into disks
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 12 oz frozen broccoli
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 cups COOKED brown OR white rice

Instructions 

  • To a large skillet over medium heat add the butter and oil. Once hot add in the sliced turkey sausage and brown it for 3-4 minutes on each side. Add in the frozen broccoli and all of the seasonings stir well. Cover with the lid and let cook for 7-9 minutes stirring occasionally to soften the broccoli. Stir in the cooked rice and enjoy!
