5 Ultimate Comfort Food Casseroles Using Rotisserie Chicken:

Why use a rotisserie chicken:
If you shop at Sam’s Club or Costco, you know that they have those larger cooked chickens in the deli section that you can buy for $5-6.
What is so great about that is you will get a whole chicken’s worth of meat for $5-6 without having to put any effort forth to cook it.
With grocery prices like they are right now, most boneless chicken breasts are almost $3 per pound. So, essentially you would be spending about the same amount of money, without using your time to cook it.
Can I use other chicken?
Yes! If you want to use other chicken go for it! These easy casserole recipes will be great for any leftover chicken you might have from a previous dinner. And they are a great way to avoid wasting the leftovers.
Just know that you will need to cook any chicken ahead of time since these recipes are made for using pre-cooked chicken.
Another great option would be to use canned chicken in place of the rotisserie chicken in these easy dinner recipes.
What to serve with these great recipes?
My favorite go-to side dishes to serve with these easy dinner recipes are homemade mashed potatoes, green beans (or your favorite vegetables), rice, and easy dinner rolls.
However, since most of these casserole dishes have a little bit of everything in them, sides are not always necessary if you aren’t feeling like making them.
