Pasta & Peas One Pot

Ingredients

  • 16 oz frozen peas

  • 1/2 lb bowtie noodles

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 diced white onion

  • 1 tbs olive oil

  • Dash of salt and pepper

Directions

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over med heat and add in the onion and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir in the peas and cook for 1-2 minutes. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add in noodles, cover and bring to a low simmer until the pasta is cooked. (Whatever pasta you choose to use should be partially covered in water) Stir frequently to prevent pasta sticking to the bottom. Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the parmesan. Enjoy

    We added sausage for a little protein and some alfredo sauce since we had some on hand
