Slow Cooker Honey Chicken

This slow cooker honey chicken is sweet, savory, and incredibly tender—perfect for serving over rice or tucked into lettuce wraps.

Ingredients 

  • cup low sodium soy sauce
  • cup honey
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts

Instructions 

  • To a small bowl add in all of the ingredients except for the chicken, whisk well.
  • Add the chicken in to a slow cooker and pour the sauce over the top.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 4 hours or until the chicken has cooked though.
  • Shred the chicken in the slow cooker then cook on LOW for 20 more minutes. Enjoy.
