Ingredients for the Roasted Ranch Potatoes:

Potatoes: I like to make these easy ranch potatoes using washed and diced Yukon gold potatoes.

Oil: Use your favorite olive oil you have on hand, or buy your favorite from the grocery store.

Seasoning: Get a packet of ranch seasoning – I like to use the Hidden Valley Ranch packet – or make a homemade ranch seasoning mix.

How to make the Roasted Ranch Potatoes:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut the potatoes into small, bite-size pieces.

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

To a medium-sized bowl, add in the potatoes, olive oil, and dry ranch seasoning. Stir to coat.

Place onto the sheet pan and spread out into a single layer. Bake for 40 minutes.

How to store leftovers from this easy side dish:

Fridge: Place the leftover potatoes into an airtight container and store them in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Tips and tricks for making the best roasted potatoes:

Kind of potatoes to use:

For the best results, I like to use either the yellow potatoes or red potatoes. You can use the big potatoes or the baby potatoes

Can I use the air fryer?

Yes you can! Just cook the potatoes at 400 degrees F for 8 minutes. Then toss the potatoes and continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes. This is a great way to make tender potatoes if you are short on time and still want to get the potato skin crispy.

Topping for this family favorite recipe:

If you want, another fun way to serve this is similar to loaded nachos or French fries – loaded roasted potatoes! Try 2 or more of these delicious toppings:

  • Bacon bits
  • Sour cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Diced green onions
  • Ranch salad dressing
