Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey OR ground beef

  • 1 white onion, diced

  • 1 tbs minced garlic

  • 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 15 oz can pinto beans, drained and rinsed

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 6 oz can tomato paste

  • 2 – 10 oz cans rotel

  • 14 oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes

  • 3 tbs chili powder

  • 2 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbs brown sugar

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

  • To a large skillet over medium heat add the turkey, diced onion and garlic break the turkey up and cook it through.
  • To a large slow cooker add the ground turkey and onions now add in the rest of the ingredients stir well cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours OR HIGH for 5 hours. Serve and enjoy!
