Slow Cooker Seasoned Chicken & Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts

  • 9 smaller red potatoes, diced

  • 12oz frozen or fresh green beans (Not canned)

  • Marinade
  • 1 lemon, juiced (Fresh)

  • 2 tbs minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Directions

  • In the slow cooker, add in the chicken breast and on one side add in the potatoes and the other side for green beans. Pour the marinade over it all.
  • Cook on low for about 5 to 6 hours or until chicken cooked completely! Enjoy

  • Use fresh lemon juice, not the bottled lemon juice.

  1. Hi, Will it be ok to add a little bit of chicken broth? Is it the same cooking time if I use a 7 quart crock pot with thighs instead of chicken breast?

  4. It seems like very little liquid for a slow cooker! Besides the lemon juice and the oil, no other liquids?

  5. Would swapping in sweet potatoe work?
