Ingredients for Breakfast Sliders

breakfast sliders
  • Egg: Large eggs, refrigerated or room temperature
  • Milk: My favorite is whole milk for creamier eggs, but what you have on hand will do!
  • Seasonings: Salt, black pepper, and ranch seasoning mix that you can find by all the dressings
  • Meat: You will need raw bacon slices
  • Cheese: I like to use shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • Butter: Use melted unsalted butter
  • Sugar: Use brown sugar when making the topping for the egg and cheese sliders
  • Rolls: Grab a package of Kings Hawaiian rolls or your favorite sweet Hawaiian rolls at the store

Cut each slice of bacon into 4 pieces. Cook bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside. Discard all but 1 Tbsp of the bacon grease in the pan (you will be cooking the eggs in the bacon grease).

How to store leftover savory breakfast sliders:

Fridge: Wrap the sliders in either wax paper or aluminum foil and then place them into a large resealable plastic bag and store in the fridge. If you don’t have a large enough bag, separate the sliders and place them into an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Ways to change up these delicious breakfast Hawaiian sliders:

  • Use ground savory sausage, chopped up sausage patties, or deli ham instead of the bacon
  • Use only egg whites for a healthier version of these cheese breakfast sliders
  • Slather on some cream cheese before adding the eggs and bacon
  • Drizzle the top with either maple syrup or pancake syrup

What type of cheese to use:

This is up to you, but I like to use shredded cheddar cheese. You could use American cheese slices, shredded white cheddar cheese, or even pepper jack cheese if you want a little heat!
