Tips and tricks for this perfect dessert recipe:

Can I make my own homemade cream cheese frosting?

Yes! Instead of getting a can of frosting at the grocery store, use 1/4 cup butter, 6 oz cream cheese (softened), 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1-2 tbsp of milk, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.

Cream the butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy. Then add the remaining ingredients and continue mixing until you get the desired texture you enjoy.

Can I add more cinnamon flavor?

You sure can. A simple way is to add some ground cinnamon to the frosting before spreading it on top of the cake or sprinkle more cinnamon carefully over top of the cake.
